Pastor Chuck Myers has traveled the nation and the world ministering with his parents and later on in life on his own.  As he served on the mission field in Indonesia, it gave him a hunger to serve God in the unseen tasks as well as the seen. His ministry is highlighted by his gentle, yet persuasive servant’s heart.

His strong teaching/preaching style edifies and encourages the body of Christ as it brings understanding and relevance to multiple generations.

By his side is Chuck’s wife, Lori. Together they form an anointed team of praise and worship leaders. Lori’s powerful testimony has touched countless lives and her ministry is ever increasing in its effectiveness. Her passion to help restore relationships is guiding women to gain victory over harmful habits as well as teach them to love and respect others. She currently teaches a weekly Bible Study and travels to other churches and venues to speak.

The co-founders of RHFWC, Pastor Richard E, Myers (PASSED AWAY IN DECEMBER, 2015) and his lovely wife, Joan C. Myers (PASSED AWAY IN MAY 2016).

After graduating from Anchor Bay Bible Institute in 1957, Pastor Richard was called into the ministry as Pastor in Pontiac, MI until 1963.

Combining evangelistic work in North America with missionary trips to foreign countries in Asia and the Caribbean, he and his wife, Joan saw thousands of souls saved, healed, and delivered in Jesus’ name.

Hearing the call from God to minister, Pastor Richard and Joan founded Avondale Faith Tabernacle (now Rochester Hills Family Worship Center) in December of 1975. Within 6 weeks, they purchased a church building in Auburn Heights and began seeing their church membership grow. In 1980, feeling the need to expand their facilities, they purchased a beautiful 16,000 sq. ft. complex.

God used Pastor Richard mightily in the deliverance ministry. Thousands of people have been set free from the bondage of demonic strongholds through the discernment and authority that God placed in his life and ministry.

The divine healing ministry that he operated in, brought freedom to multitudes of people for over 50 years.

Joan, his wife, was a child prodigy in scripture memorization. As a gifted and anointed saxophone player, her music healed and blessed many people. Her “golden saxophone” was featured on the album, “Golden Bells for You and Me”.
