Christian Fellowship Church of the Philippines – News Update January 2013

Christian Fellowship Church of the Philippines, January 2013

“Praise the Lord, all his heavenly hosts, you his servants who do his will.  Praise the Lord, all his works everywhere in his dominion.  Praise the Lord, O my soul!”  Ps. 103:21, 22.

Happy New Year!  As we enter God’s year of 2013, let’s praise Him from the depths of our soul!  May you have a wonderful New Year serving Him!
As we look back over the past year, and indeed the past many years, we remember all the many wonderful things we have experienced in the Lord.  God has often made us to wonder at His Goodness and Faithfulness to us, and to rejoice in so many answered prayers.  We couldn’t even begin to recount them!  It’s sufficient to know that He is ever moving in our behalf and for our benefit.  We look forward to great things this coming year!
Needless to say, December was a very busy month, with all the Christian Fellowship Churches having their annual Thanksgiving services and celebrations.  I traveled to Culipapa, a village in southern Negros and ministered at their thanksgiving celebration.  The church is small but stable and they’re reaching out to the community.  There are several pioneering works in the mountain villages in that area.  Thank God for them.
After the Christmas break we are again back in classes at the Christian Fellowship School of Ministry and enjoying the good teaching in the school.
We’ll be having our annual Youth Convention on April 15-18, and again our annual Pastors’ Convention on May 13-15.  It’ll be great to be together again and enjoy the power and refreshing of the Holy Spirit!  Please pray for the upcoming meetings and a move of the Spirit.
We’re still recovering from Typhoon Pablo that did so much damage here in the Central and Southern Philippines.  After that, more storms have come and gone.  Now we’re longing for the dry season!
Again, thank you for your prayers.  May God bless you more!
