“Put on the whole armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.”  Eph. 6:11.  This verse was the theme of our Christian Fellowship Church Pastors’ Convention in Dumaguete City on May 18-21!
What a wonderful time we had with our precious pastors who came from three islands and four provinces to attend!  Several pastors came from Zamboanga province in the southern island of Mindanao.  The Western Negros pastors hired a cargo truck and came over the high mountains to be here!  Pastors came from the northernmost tip of Negros Island and from the southernmost tip!  Many of the pastors are serving in far mountainous areas.  Some had to walk several miles to get out to the main road where they could catch a bus!  Our seven new intern pastors were also present.  They are doing a great job in their churches!
It was a time of precious fellowship, encouragement and spiritual growth for all of us.  Our anointed and talented lady pastors gave several messages during the convention and we were all so blessed by them!  Our speakers gave us wonderful messages from Ephesian chapter six!  Then the evening services were times of Holy Spirit revival!
Thank you for your faithful prayers and support for Christian Fellowship pastors and churches!  We are “workers together” in His harvest!
    God bless you!

“We are called by God to LOVE VIOLENTLY.

The word violent is defined as: intense in force and effect; severe and extreme; furious in impetuosity and energy.
To be impetuous means: having great impetus; moving with great force; liable to act without consideration.

God IS love and His kind of love was demonstrated by the intense, forceful, severe and extreme lengths He went to to rescue us from darkness. As Jesus Christ lived and died, it was with Violent Love that didn’t hold back or walk cautiously. It is God’s Violent Love that rescued us and it is that same Violent Love that we want to demonstrate to others.

Jes and I want to LOVE VIOLENTLY in action and in deed, moving with great force and being liable to act without consideration of our own comfort, success, or reputation. To “declare God’s glory among the Nations and His marvelous deeds among all peoples” is the cry of our hearts.”
